Welcome! I'm Glad You Stopped By. Let's Play!

This website is dedicated to classic boredom busters (as well as a few new ones). Our goal is to remove the words "I'm Bored" from your child's vocabulary. With hundreds and hundreds of economical (free or almost-free) activities for children to do, there is always a new adventurefor your family or children just around the corner.

Use the links on the left to help you find a craft or activity right for today. There's everything from arts and crafts to tricky challenges to outdoor adventures to help keep your children entertained.

Enjoy!

Learn more about the activity groupings shown on the left by visiting the site map which includes a short blurb on each activity group--although most of the activity group names describe exactly what you'll find on that page. Of course, feel free to snoop around or use the search feature. And most of all, enjoy!

Why Play?

Play is integral to every child's development physically, emotionally and psychologically. Play, quite simply, is child's work. Free play, where children are free to choose their own 'rules' and 'structure' for their play time, oftening relying on their own imagination, is important for children as it allows them room to truly discover who they are and what they are capable of accomplishing when given room to explore. Many of these activities will help you and your child get started. You may be amazed where it leads you.

Have fun!
